Paul Vlissidis, Technical Director at NCC Group, explained to the Telegraph the very real threat of hackers.
“There aren't rooms full of hackers in Siberia, organised criminals are making use of the talent that is out there. It's a playground, a lot of them do it for technical curiosity and the thrill of it.
Low-level hacking is probably going to stay under the radar of most law enforcement agencies. Those hackers are pretty much immune to being caught. The reason we want people to be scared is that we are scared. We need to become a lot more paranoid than we are now."
